NFCU Refinance Approval!

My previous loan was through Carvana (serviced by Bridgecrest), just shy of 20k with an APR of 11.57% for 72 months. I got this loan in October 2019, a few months after my bankruptcy was discharged in July 2019.

NFCU just approved me for 16.7k with an APR of 4.79% for 48 months. I only had 54 months left on my current loan, so my payments remain around the same, but will save a lot of interest and pay off sooner! (I plan to make biweekly payments as well.) It is a 2016 Mazda CX-5 with just shy of 70k miles on it.

I was so worried they wouldn't approve me, so I'm thrilled! They pulled TU, I don't know the score & haven't seen anything telling me what it was, but my auto loan score on TU from 04/02/2021 is 727. And my annual gross income is 40k.

Re: NFCU Refinance Approval!

Nice!! I'm looking to refinance my truck as well. Leaning towards NFCU, but I'm going to look into USAA as well.

I don't think you can go wrong with either.  Here's to you being able to cut rate and put the savings back into your pocket.
