New ford

I have a credit score of 705 right now and have been working very hard lately on it to improve it and its continually going up. My husband works in the oilfield do money isn't a problem. I don't want to get screwed on an interest rate? We are ready to buy but our price range for a great new car is between 25-35k.... I do have a trade in so basically I'm completely lost as to what score is good enough to go get a car and I'm wanting one within the next month or two. I need as much info for the state of OK and how to go about doing my car business Smiley Happy) please help

Re: New ford

You shouldnt have a problem with Ford, I would encourage you go to Ford.com and look at the current rebates and incentives. Also, if you arent planning to purchase within the next 60 days, you should join EAA ( $40 annual membership fee ) and be X-plan eligible if you arent already.

If you arent willing to wait the 60 days for the X-plan and live in southern OK and are willing to make the drive to Dallas/Ft Worth. Look up Josh Purdy at Grapevine Ford in Grapevine, Texas. He is Ford`s top SW Region sales rep for the last 3 years, he works his own deals so there is no back and forth to the manager BS, and he most likely will give you a price the same ( or better than X plan )

He got me into a new 2013 Ford Focus, at a price lower than X plan, with ZERO down, and 1.9% APR for 72 months with scores that were a little lower than what I have posted below.

Oh, and as an added bonus with buying a car there, if you have a flight out of DFW Airport you can schedule your car for an oil change  ( or some other mundane low cost maintence ) - leave it there, catch the shuttle to and from the Airport, and pick your car up ( that had free non airport parking ) when you return.
