I am looking to purchase a vehicle and this program looks very good to me. 2.39% rate out to 60 months on a new car and they just send a check to use at the deaer. What do you all think of this product? https://www.pnc.com/en/personal-banking/borrowing/auto-loans/check-ready-auto-loan.html
DCU offers the same thing with 1.49%
I applied for the PNC auto loan when I was ready to purchase a car and got denied despite scores in high 700's and good mix of credit. The reason for denial was because I recently moved and got a new job that was only a year in. They wanted to see employment for more than 2-3 years. I notice PNC tend to be a little more tough. So I went with the dealer finance and then later refinance with my CU.
Also, the 2.39% rate is their lowest offered to those with strict credit worthiness, lol. I initially got 3.07% but was denied alltogether ultimately.

Yeah, with those requirements, and those rates, seems DCU would be a no-brainer. That's why these boards are so AWESOME!
Hey there! qcck question did they let you know right after you submitted the application f you were denied?
