Friday late at night I applied online for an an auto loan refinance. I selected the offer and terms of the loan. An hour later. I received an email from PenFed Auto Loan asking me to upload the payoff letter from my current finance company. I had it ready, so I uploaded it. 30 minutes later I received an email, this time it's from, PenFed Member Services thanking me for uploading the payoff letter. Then nothing since then. I still don't have a PenFed online account.
So today, I used their application status tracker by birth date and social security number. Then I got a message saying "We couldn't find any open applications"
Does anyone know what could that possibly mean?

Maybe it's just the timing of you applying over the weekend? Hopefully by Monday / early next week they'll get back with you?

most here I wouldn't say think highly of Penfed's online infrastructure
it doesn't surprise me that it doesn't work, hopefully monday you'll be able to call and ask and get an update or the tool will fix itself and work
































PENFED has an extremely outdated user interface, it could just be a glitch with their system. I know when I was looking into financing a car with them last year, their application status tracker was not very helpful. Give them a call tommorrow.

Thanks. I agree! I did read that their online system has a lot of glitches.

It looks like they do have problems in their online system. I just have to be patient. If I don't hear from them, I will definitely call them tomorrow.
