I recently submitted a used auto loan application with PenFed (Pre-approved). The following step was to choose the length of the term and interest rate from five different sets of options they offered me. I made that choice. Subsequently they sent me an email with a link to complete the application and proceed, I suppose to finalize and put the loan in motion. In replying to their email, a page comes up on their site and basically says they cannot currently complete the process and suggest calling an agent at their 800 number. They have a big "OOPS" stated on this page, indicating to me some kind of system error. Many, many calls later (the last two weeks), their agents say the system to process the details of the loans for me and others, is not working. My question is:
Is anyone experiencing this delay for an auto loan from PenFed? If so, can you add any additional information to what I have mentioned above? Sure would like to know. Thanks!
