Had an Ally Auto Loan since summer 2016 for 8.7% on 30k and 72 months. Applied for auto refinance with PenFed and Boom!!! got approved to 6.1%.
PenFed seems to be a great credit union with all the positive comments on here. I was rejected for a credit card even though EQ FICO 9 was 680s.....maybe becuase I have COs on there that should cme out in a couple years. But I am happy at the auto refinance and hope to get my foot in the door with them and build a solid long-term realtionship. It put my payment $75 less than Ally.
