Hi guys.
had a loan due last Saturday. I had thought that i had it on auto pay and just logged in today.
am I in trouble ? Is this gonna get reported to the bureaus ? and I should pre emotive call them? Not sure if it matters that it was due on a Saturday helps my case. But it was simply Pure omission on my part
thank you

Since you are less than 30 days late making the payment, they should not report to the bureaus. You should call them and make sure they aren't going to charge you a late fee, if they do and you don't pay the additional money to cover that fee then they will report the account as deliquent.
Greetings PointLager ~ If it's only 2 days late you should be fine as it would be an adverse reporting once it's 30 days late -but- I would pay it today just to be on the safe side!!!
Penfed will consider this a late payment for their internal systems. Meaning if you apply for anything else with them, they will have access to this account and will see you paid late. As for the credit reports, no it will only show up late if its 30 days or more. But yes Penfed considers this late and they will ding you for it on your next loan if you use them again. I wouldnt. There are so many other places out there to get loans and CCs from.
Penfed has a 5 day grace period before they charge a late fee. I doubt it will matter in the long run.

This is not true. PenFed while not published, does offer a few days grace. This won't have a negative impact on the OP's credit and will likely not have any negative action as it relates to obtaining another auto loan in the future. This isn't a credit card where such would matter a bit more if one is late.
