Pre Approval or Dealership

Hello all,

I am looking at getting a new vehicle in about 6 months.  My question is this.

Is it best to get preapproval via say BofA or CapOne and know your rate etc before hand or to wait and see what you can get at the dealership?

Its been a while since I have gotten a new car.

thanks

Re: Pre Approval or Dealership

Best to get pre-approved before going. Generally a CU will get you the best rate. Then see if the dealer will beat it.

Too many INQs & low AAoA so I'm off to tend the Garden.     Age:23
