Prime loans

Just a tidbit from talking to several credit unions. It seems that a 620 score falls in the Prime zone, even on the very bottom. I was very suprised about this, I thought it was considered one notch below.

Re: Prime loans

Every lender has different underwriting standards and "tiers" for credit approval. Sometimes, multiple tiers have the same rate. Not all banks consider 620 prime, some may consider 720+ or even 740+ prime. Your mileage will always vary.
