Purchasing a used 2020 Tesla Model Y 3,000 miles on car for $48,000 private party. What banks use Experian, since that's my highest FICO auto score, I want to try to get the best low rate.
DCU needs a 730+ for their 1.99% lowest rate, unless thell work with me somehow? I had a loan thru DCU in the past. I also have great auto loan history, no issues. Just paid off my TD bank loan as I'm selling that car for the Tesla. My scores below:
DCU pulls your Equifax but it's your mortgage score and could be higher or lower.
if in NJ,NY maybe even PA Visions Federal Credit Union pulls Experian Mortgage score for auto loans.
Yes my mortgage scores were lower. I don't know why DCU uses those but their loss. I'm going thru a local CU, they pull Transunion FICO 8 and mine is at 747 as of today, it jumped up. The VP of lending at the credit union I'm going thru told me thell match / beat the DCU 1.99% rate with an additional .25% discount, see what happens tomorrow when I hear back.

Went with Nutmeg Financial Credit Union they pull TransUnion Fico 8.
I'm pretty sure NASA pulls EX. Try giving them a ring and also freeze EQ and TU once you are ready to apply.
