How long DO I have to wait before applying for a car loan? If all things go well I'll start a new job in OCT making around 50K a year. I plan to apply for a loan in Jan of 2014. I plan on using Capital One Blank Check. Do loan companies have specific terms about how long you have to have employment before you are approved?
