Hi everyone, I wasnt planning on looking for an auto loan as I was a few payments away from paying of my cherished Lexus gs300. However, a couple nights ago my younger brother asked if he could use it to go to a friends house for the night (as he has been saving up for his own car) and totaled my car on his way home. The car did its job and luckily he is safe but I am in need of a new car now.
My scores are all ranging from 752-765 fico across all 3, with a utilization of 2% and no baddies what so ever.
I recently recieved a promotion of which my next pay stub will reflect the change (32k->53k) but I wont recieve that check until very close to the end of the month. With the given promotion I feel in a good position to buy a newer comparable car to what I had at around 25 to 30k, and I am shown to be preapproved up to 30K on DCU site, however Id like to be able to get the car before the end of the month as I dont have transportation currently. Does anyone have experience with an auto loan in between a pay raise or with showing a lower income at time of app.
any help is appreciated

Oh that's an easy one all you need to do is go to your company's HR department and have them draw up a letter on company letter head stating your pay increase and when it should post to your next paystub and submit that along with your application and proof of income.

Thank you so much. I will go that route and see what they say.
DCU never asked me for proof of income on my auto loan app a few weeks ago.
