Hey guys i wanted to share my story about getting a car with bad credit. I dont know how many of you guys have heard of Jdbyrider or Cnac. Jdbyrider is the car company and Cnac is their financer. I have bad credit. I have owned many lemons. Purchased from these buy here pay here places. I went through a divorce last year. Had a lemon that was paid for die on me. So i had to get another car.
My former sister n law tells me about this bad credit car company called Jdbyrider. We go up and check them out. They have a program for getting people who have had credit issues a car. They say they dont go by your credit score. What they do is pull your credit and then sit down one on one to ask you about all the stuff on your report. You get a chance to tell them why its on your report. Then they make a descision based on what you have told them on whether they will finance you.
I have seen alot of bad things posted about this company on the internet. But i have to say that i have hardly had any issues with them. The issues i did have we worked out. They dont have late fees. You get NO grace period on being late with your payment. But they do report bi weekly to the credit agencys if you pay on time. I have a 2004 dodge stratus. Its almost been a year since i got it. They offer a limited warranty on their cars. Free oil changes for the length of time you own the car. They do charge a 25 dollar fee for servicing the car if anything goes wrong with it. But if whats wrong with the car is under their warranty then thats all you pay. If its not under warranty you get a 30 percent discount on the service.
Its a good program for people who normally only be able to buy lemons from buy here pay places. I dont know of any other company you can buy a used car and still have a warranty. The warranty is 24k miles or two years, which ever comes first. If you keep the car and pay on it, it will reflect well on you and build your credit score up. Then later you can refinance it, which is what im going to do. To get a better interest rate. And get to keep the car and the warranty. The interest rate they charge is high , making the payments more. But if you have bad credit thats what you expect. I dont get the best rate on my CC either because of my bad credit.
I think it depends on what state you live in to what kind of expierence you have with them. I have read some horror stories related to them. I live in Tennessee and the one i deal with is nice. I liked my salesman, and i like the service center. I would recommend them if you have bad credit. You can look up their website online by doing a google for them. Their website lists what states they operate in.
