Recommended Credit Union for new car loan

I'm getting nervous. I'm creeping up on my first negotions with car dealers and I feel like I don't know what I'm doing.

I'm preparing to apply online with a national credit union, but am unsure of who to choose. My FICO 08s are 761, 763, and 778. I'm planning to buy a new car in the $30-36K range. I was really hoping to be with Navy Federal by now, but my husband's sister hasn't taken any action to get signed up so we can get a referral. We've asked 3x and the last time her husband claimed they weren't eligible based on his research. (Their son is an enlisted Marine and NFCU member. He loves it.) We responded with a screenshot of who is eligible and they didn't bother to respond. So now I'm thinking someone like PenFed, USAA, or DCU. I'm looking for someone who has generous CC limits with fairly decent rewards. Also someone who is easy to work with for the auto loan as I'm not physically located near them. Any recommendations or kudos for the 3 CUs I've listed?

Re: Recommended Credit Union for new car loan

I have nothing but great things to say about Penfed so far. I have a checking, savings, overdraft and a car loan with them.

Anytime they need paperwork signed, they send it AND a postage paid envelope. If needed, clear instructions and I had to call customer service once and the lady was so nice.

I applied online for my car refinance was was approved instantly. I was so shocked and happy! I've decided to make them my primary bank.
