My credit went up from around 500-520 to 665-700 0ver the last year or so. My APR on my car was around 16% through Bridgecrest.
I just got a new locan from Capitol One Auto Loans. Was super easy, but they would not qualify me for a refinance.
Since my credit was already pulled I tried several places. Finally I tried REFIJET.
Guy calls me back and said he wasnt too sure because I had a ton of credit pulls in the last 2 months, but said he would give it a try.
Comes back in 30 minutes and said he got me approved at a little over 5%. Payments went from $325 down to $265 and that included an extended warranty since I have 52K miles. Yeah, he's probably making money off me but I was happy to let him since He saved me about $6K overall. He said my payment would be $247 without the warranty but it's a decent one. Covers rentals, tires, and bumper to bumper for another 50k + miles. Honestly, I mostly took it because I was grateful he found me a good refinance. I could tell he knew what he was doing.
Was super easy and tomorrow we are getting Bridgecrest paid off and I dont have a payment for another 45 days.
I only got 1 hit on each credit report. I was expecting a ton.
Anyways.. just wanted to share a positive experience with a company I wasnt too sure about.
Just finalized all my paperwork today. Was very simple. Had to get a notary but they gave me a prepaid UPS label and everything. Ended up going through Huges Credit Union. Was going to be Pentagon (PenFed CU) but overnight Hughes CU came back with 1/2% lower. So I appreciate this company even more now. ![]()
