Some advice please

So I am going to be purchasing a used car soon. Not sure what yet but probably a used Lexus in the 30-37 K range. I ws preapproved through navy fed for 39 k but at 9.79% rate for 72 months. I feel that is a little high. My Credit score is above 750. I can only think it is due to my DTI. Could that be the case. I just paid off a capital one auto loan that did not hit my credit yet? Should I apply again once that hits. hanks in advance for any advice and recommendations.

Oh I also have USAA which is my main bank but I did not apply with them because I had a repo with them in 2014 and filed ch. 13. so I did not think they would of approved me even though that is no longer on credit report.

The NFCU rate does seem high, but it can always be refinanced at a lower rate down the road.

  1. Was the Cap One loan your only open installment loan?
  2. What credit score are you quoting?  (Fico, Vantage)
  3. What's the amount of reported aggregate utilization you have reporting on your revolving credit cards?
  4. What's the highest reported utilization on any single revolving card?
