State Farm Auto Loan

I was looking up rates last nighy because Im possibly interested in getting a GT Mustang. I came across State Farm rates showing 1.99% up to 84 months? That is very low for that length of time. I have had the last 7 cars with my CU, but if this is for real I might switch. Has anyone used them for their car loans before? Credit score needed for those rates?

Also, I know that long of a loan is frowned upon. I can afford shorter terms. I usually get the long terms and pay extra. Its just nice having a break at Christmas time if I dont want to pay extra. Also, incase of a job loss (you never know) I dont want to be stuck with a huge payment. My friend is a finance manager and he said that is what he always does as well.

Re: State Farm Auto Loan

That rate beats my local CU so I would go for it.  As far as the length of the loan goes, you can take the longer period and always make extra payments to PIF sooner.  I use them for insurance so maybe the will, offer a break on the insurance.

Finally the GT is on my bucketlist so get the one with the digital dash.
