So I was in the market for a new car and found the one I wanted at Carmax. 2016 BMW 335i GT. I was already approved from Chase site for $45,000 based on my credit cards with them at 6.14% but Carmax is not approved lender for them. Option 2, I applied through USAA and was approved for $37,500 at 6.5% and then I wanted to see what Carmax could do, they came back at 10.5%. Lol. I also looked at Capital One Navigator but because I reserved and had the car on hold at Carmax it would not generate a rate for that car. Their website was very strange. Just approve the deal and tell me what the rate is, why the range depending on what car I went with. I saw some cars with a 7.5% and some I could have gotten for 3.85%. Overall the process with USAA was a dream. So so simple.
Congrats on your approval! I think you should have avoided CarMax, I know their prices are a little above average. But congrats to you.
Congratulations!

Congrats! but agree carmax is a little higher priced!
Which bureau and version does USAA use for auto loans?
@Gladius They pulled EX on me yesterday. Not totally sure what version they use.
I have to say the process is one of the easiest I've come across.
