Good afternoon ladies and gents. I am looking to potentially buy a used f150 2011 to 2014 ish. I've never gone this new and I'm curious as to how far back a financial entity may finance a used vehicle while still offering terms up to 60 months? I'm sure mileage factors in as well. I'm looking to but something in sweet spot of a little over 100 thousand miles on it with a price of 15 to 17 ish grand with a down payment of 3 to 5 grand .
Thank ye all.
My local credit union will only go 10 years old and under 100k miles. Some credit unions will go higher on mileage, I don't know of any that will go over 10 years old.
@Caleb87 You may be able to find a lender that will work with a vehicle of that age but the mileage is going to be a big factor for most. Some just won't even play ball with a vehicle with such mileage but you also have age going against you as well.
If you can't find a lender that will approve it on the auto lending side, maybe think about a personal loan. Depending on your overall credit profile and with decent income, you may be able to find someone who will lend as a personal loan.
Best of luck to you.
