What happens when....?

I have a voluntary repo due to fall off one credit report next month/Sept. and off another credit report in Oct. for the same repo.   I don't know why the dates are not the same for both cr's.

What do you think will happen in terms of my credit scores, will they go up or down?  This will change my AAoA, I know.  I need a car.  The car is with Citi auto.

Re: What happens when....?

Speaking only from what I saw with my ex-boyfriend's very similar situation, his Equifax score went up 20 points in one month when his repo fell off his credit.  the next month, his score went up another 5 points, and we couldn't really determine why, but it stuck there for a while.

Re: What happens when....?

Thanks, that is what I am hoping for.  If you don't mind me asking, has he been able to get another car financed and how long did he wait to apply?  I just want to purchase a used car but I have read on this forum that, with the auto enhanced scores the dealers look to see if there are previous repo's or if cars have been included in bk's.

Thanks again.

Re: What happens when....?

This is good to know.  I appreciate your response. I am hoping it falls off before the end of the month though.

Thank you.

Re: What happens when....?

dznen1 - yes he did finance another car shortly after.  I don't remember what the rate was, but I don't think it was that bad.
