Which score will be used?

I may be applying for an auto loan with my spouse(for income purposes). My scores are good but my spouse's scores are low. Will they use my higher scores for qualification or the lowest scores?

Depends on the lender. When we leased a car after by BK the delaer put my wife on line 1 and me on 2, approved without issue. That was with Infiniti. Toyota was the same. The other cars we've bought have been through credit unions and the order on the app didn't seem to matter but was priced on her score.

@sccredit So was your wife the one with the highest score?

Correct. About 6 months out of BK my score was mid-600's and hers was 800+ (she didn't have to file). All of our credit apps were that way for a few years. The last couple years the order on the app has been irrelevant.
