just got turned down for a loan from my bank!!!! Help please!!

My bank called and declined my loan app for a used car.  The lady said it was due to the accounts in collections.  What are my other options since the collection accounts will be on my credit for awhile still?

Would I have better luck with a credit union?  If not, then who would I have better luck with?  My scores as of today are:  617 TU, 616 EQ and 649 EX.

You're better off addressing these collections FIRST.  Try to get them off of your reports or this issue may keep popping up.

If you post your collection issues over on Rebuilding or General, someone will be along to point you in the right direction.
