i want to get out of my current car, im rougly 2-3k upside down in it.
my current fico5 with EQ is 705, i have perfect payment history with my current auto loan *through navy federal*, and perfect history with my credit card (10K CL)
my credit profile is a bit thin ..oldest account is 17 months, average age of credit is 14 months ... only have a single credit card and the auto loan.
im looking to borrow roughly 38K

So are you looking to get a new car or refinance your existing one? I couldn't tell for sure what you meant by get out of, sorry long day and I need more coffee.
I just joined PenFed and refinance my car for 4.10%, my scores are lower than yours - I borrowed $35K for 60 months at $645. So far, I love them, the process was very easy for me to join and to get the loan.
Not familar with DCU since you have to be 2 years post bk to get approved but everyone on here loves them for car financing.
I'd probably apply with both of them and see what each one offers. Also, with that score, for many dealerships you might qualify for their higher tier financing, is there something specific you were looking to buy that may have lower apr than they could offer?
well i was looking to trade my car in for a newer .. *still used* vehicle
car im shooting for is a 2012 Lexus ISF, since its not new .. im not expected a great intrest rate ... right now my current loan is at 17% with navy federal
anything under 10% would be awesome i think
