I also posted this in the mortgage section. looking for help![]()
Hello-
I'm a little all over the place right now. I have a car lease which is due for return in may. I also would like to swap my home equity loan to gain a lower monthly payment. DCU can do it for about 210 lower than what I am currently paying now with PNC. So my question is, should I get another car first which I'm sure I'll probably lease again or do the home equity first? Does it matter? I don't really want to hurt my scores by doing one first vs the other.
Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Anything regarding home mortgages (including home equity) should be done BEFORE you even utter the word refi/buy/lease a car or even apply for a credit card.
