Wow, there is pretty much zero personal responsibility here. I feel bad for what she has done to her son through all this. I suspect he will have to bail her out once again...

It sounds like you want to eliminate your $125k in debt without losing anything of value or paying it. That's just not going to happen. I don't see the problem in selling your house to pay the debt and moving on.
Would u want to loose a home that ur son/daughter bought for you that's worth over $350K? I don't think so! U don't see the problem with that? R u blind dude? U stating that just pisses me off. People fall into hard times you don't know my situation and for u to go and say that was total BS. How about u move on with ur comments.
I would never put my family in a position to lose something they bought me. I learned the value of a dollar and how to responsibly borrow it. If you don't work why are you buying things. If the house is worth that much sell it, pay off your debt and use the rest to buy a cheaper house.
It starts with responsibilty both personally and financially. You lack both and now you're in a bad situation. Your situation, albeit extreme, is what is wrong with this county. Consumers just buying things with money they haven't earned to buy things they don't need. And based on your post it seems you didn't fall into hard times you put yourself there. Buying stuff on credit and not paying it is not falling into hard times so the sympathy card can't be played. You need to own up to your debt and do what's right. And hiding assets from a bankruptcy is not right. You have not earned the right to keep certain things while owing $125k.
@Anonymous wrote:You people keep on insisting on me giving up my home to pay off my debts when I said from the very start that's not an option. I came on here for advice not to be sh*t on. I have done my research in my state and I understand the RAW facts as you put it. I'm not putting up my home to pay my debts point blank it's as simple as that. I'd rather let my debt go then to use my home my shelter to pay a misely $125k in debt. I'll be damned if I let all my son's hard earned money go out the window. I don't understand what you people don't understand about that. You know what I'm going to keep my business to myself. I regret coming on here asking for help or advice because people don't act like adults or treat other people with respect. They have to make BS comments and make someone feel like they should give up everything that they've worked hard for without knowing their situation and just move on like nothing just to pay on a debt. I give up everything to pay back $125k and then how am I suppose to live? I have nothing further to say and won't add to my discussion.
Are you serious? $125k is measely? You have no value of a dollar at all. How is it fair your creditors are out $125k yet you get that debt erased + you keep the house + you keep your car and such? If you don't see the problem with that, something is really wrong.
OP drives a Range Rover, there is about $30-$40k you could sell it for....depending on the model. Oh and one of your old posts says you quit your job volunatarily, which is it?
I am starting to wonder if this is just someone really pulling our leg - it is that unbelieable... If not, I *really* feel bad for her son. She is or soon could be really mesisng up his life.

OK ... here's my advice. Sell you house and pay your bills. Move inot a rental. You have assets to cover the debts you incurred. There ... that's my help.
