As the subject line states, I am 19 months post bk. So far, I've rebounded well in reestablishing credit. However, my TransUnion score is consistently 25-30 points lower than both eq and ex scores. I've reviewed all reports and noticed that 4 accounts are still updating on the TransUnion report. Should this be the reason for the lower score?

Accounts that were IIB, cannot report any later than the month of discharge. There is some disagreement about whether they can update after the month of filing but in NO CASE can they report after the date of discharge. If they continue to "update," that is a violation of the stay imposed by the bankruptcy statute. You have grounds to dispute but rather than dispute with the credit bureaus, I would dispute with the OC. They are at some risk for violating federal law and you might win a lawsuit against them and have the whole account removed as a settlement. Consult a consumer credit attorney if the OC will not cease and desist.
Take your credit reports to your attorney. They can send them a cease and desist letter. If not its a $1000 fine and court costs in your favor for violating BK laws. keep us updated.
Your scores are great for 19 months post bk7. i'm 2 1/2 years post bk7 dc and my scores are still in the 670's - 680's.
maybe because i waited 9 months post bk dc to start rebuilding?
