3 month post discharge update

it's been a journey for sure. Does anyone know how long I'll have to wait to refinance with regional acceptance? Also was wondering if pen fed would be a go to refinance? Smiley Wink
i was able to get a new car at 10.99 interest via regional acceptance.

i have a total of 5 cards lowest $600 highest $3500. (In the garden now)

22 in TU, 7 on both EX and EQ. 3 of those will fall of this month. It's been a journey as I said but I'm finally back to my old self where I'm not so anxious anymore. My fico 8 scores are now ranging from 615-637.

Give it a little more time like a year out. Hit up PENFED for the refi. Your still really fresh out of BK for now. 10% isnt bad considering what I got with mailers after DC with my reaffirmed truck. Build a longer relationship and the chances will be much higher for approval. The fire is out. Smoke needs time to clear out.

No doubt a good rate, I had to shop around because initially I was getting interest rates of 17-22%. My goal is to get to single digits soon of course. I was hoping capital one would let me back in but their prequalified kept telling me "nope"

thanks for the advice ❤️

General consensus around here is that Penfed won't smell your cologne and talk to you until 1yr or 1.5yrs post discharge.   I'm living proof of that.
