OK, so i got my CH7 filed 9/14 and discharged 12/14.
On my credit report I had 3 baddies, Cap1, Chase, BoA showing on all three CRA. Then recently, sometime in the past month, I looked at my reports and here some dropped some stayed.
EQ: Cap1 dropped. Chase / BoA still show
EX: All gone (free and clear)
TR: Cap1 dropped. Chase / BoA still show
The actual BK7 still shows.
Is this how it works, little by little line items fall off randomly? Should I expect EQ and TR to follow suit with EX? Is this the light at the end of the tunnel, or some miracle that EX cleared, and expect to be in the long haul with EQ and TR? Obviously there is no direct answer as things vary but what is the typical norm with the BK at this stage in the game?
Thanks
I would not hold my breath or count of the rest falling off. Just make sure that you establish new trade lines (meaning accounts).

I'm thinking your Chapter 7 had nothing to do with the accounts falling off, quite simply, they hit the 7-year reporting threshold and were dropped because of that; I strongly suspect TR and EQ will follow EX's lead in a month or three. As for the BK showing on your reports, that will stick around for a few more years.
Chapter 13:
I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

I hope you're right. Been dying for these baddies to leave already!
Most things fall off after 7yrs. Charge-offs remain on your credit report for seven years plus 180 days from the date the charge-off was reported to a credit agency. If your close to the 7 year mark. You can do EE or early exclusion with TU at 6 months, EX 3 months and EQ at 1 month. But its advisable to let EQ fall on its on. They kinda mess things up a bit.

And just like that, all the baddies are off my reports. Minus the BK7 of course. Good call, you hit the nail on the head.
Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!

I know the feeling; mine drops off early next year and I'm practically counting the days.

I'm 3 months behind you in the filing/discharge process and counting down the days for the baddies to fall off (5 total accounts) can't wait for next month!
