2014 I filed BK7. 5 years later in 2019 I had to file BK13 due to divorce. My journey to rebuild has been rough to say the least. For the last 4 months I've been working to repair my credit (without assistance from Credit Repair Agencies)in order to rebuild. I have been able to get my BK13 removed from EQ. Several accounts IIB on EX, TU & EQ have been removed as well. My score is slowly increasing. I am 2 years out from BK13 discharge an im hoping my road to rebuild is completed within the next year.

I'm not an expert but technically anything that isn't inaccurate shouldn't be deleted until the "drop off" is reached such as
BK 13 - 7 years after filing, so in your case 2026
Credit Accounts- 7 years after reported update month
So my guess is you won't be able to do much until 2026 but again I'm sure others will chime in here and correct if I'm mistaken
Transwife916,
Chapter 13 BK's fall off 7 years from the date of filing. Transunion will dropped it a couple of months earlier. At this stage of your rebuild, I would let those inquiries age off and work on getting some new trade lines and some positive payment history. The bankruptcies will fall off in time. How many credit cards and loans do you have open?

With all the removals. That first Chapt 7 stays and will report until 2026. So its still doing its ding until then. We cant discuss disputing accurate info from reports hoping to get something removed. Inaccurate negative entries only.
