Bankruptcy Not showing filed on Credit Report

I filed ch.7 Dec under my married name. The court also included my maiden name. But Equifax nor Transunion is not showing the Bankruptcy filing nor discharge which was 2 days ago. What do I do. I faxed all paperwork to Equifax and to Transunion and to change my name. How long will this take? My husband credit file is reflecting bankruptcy and discharge. He is already approved for a car loan since we did not reaffirm our car loan.

You are not required in any way, shape, or form, or even legally to make sure your credit report shows your bankruptcy. I would just leave it be.

But my credit is horrible and debt. So much debt. And whenever i apply for credit i get denied because my last name has changed to married now. If i correct the credit file to show my last name wont the bankruptcy show up then?

DO NOT push this. Its literally a blessing. That 7 will stay for 10 full years and do more damage than anything else. YOu are LUCKY.
