Hello everyone!

I have been reading on the community forum for a couple of years and I've finally decided to file my chapter 7 bankruptcy! I cannot wait to start on this journey and stay connected/invovled with this community!!! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the forum for people like me just starting out.

In no time it will be discharged and you will have your fresh slate. The 341 meeting I dreaded when I filed but it was such a breeze,done in less than 5 minutes on the phone. Look forward to seeing your journey!

Welcome. I not that far ahead of you. I filed 10/8/20 patiently waiting for my 341 meeting and start rebuilding again. This with a lot more knowledge and better sense of responsibility with my credit. I agree this forum is awesome helped me tremendously the first time I rebuild. Unfortunately I messed it. Nevertheless came back here going thru my BK process and as always this forum is priceless. Grateful for everyone and their experiences to help guide ppl like us on our credit journey and make more well informed consumers.

@Anonymous  this forum really is priceless, I am just about 4 months discharged and with all the information on here I am  hovering around 650 on my fico 8's, I started in the 500's while in bankruptcy and once discharged I got a little boost.

it's all thanks to this forum. Hoping by middle next year to be 700 plus. I just gotta tell myself it's a marathon not a race as I am tempted to app for another card but know I shouldn't yet.
