My BK7 was filed in Jan 2018 and discharged almost a year later in December 2018. After checking every day since my MOC, exactly one year and one month after I filed, Cap One prequalify site said I was preapproved for Platinum or Quicksilver one. I chose the Platinum. So I've had this card since Feb 2019. Finally yesterday the upgrade link worked for me after checking monthly since 3 months after opening. They offered me the Quicksilver or the Venture One! I already have the NFCU Signature card (which is insane for cash back!) so I chose the Venture one! I also know that that Venture One can have insanely high limits. I'm so happy! my rebuild is coming along. My scores now approaching two years since discharge are around 675 (I think because I have 80k in student loans). But I'm improving every day! thanks so much to this board and everyone's helpful advice. My advice to everyone out there is be patient! time really does heal all wounds
