Hello All
New to the forum and 1st post. I filled Chapter 13 in October 2018. I see they are calling for payments of everything from morgages to student loans be deferred (and/or cancelled in some cases) for a few months due to the virus. What about folks in Chapter 7 and 13? Any body trying to help us?

Your attny can assist you if you are unable to make Plan payments for a short period of time. He/she should be able to file a Motion for Moratorium. Discuss this with your attny.

As someone said above, contact your attorney about getting payments deferred or completely suspending payments. Keep in mind that more than likely, they will extend your time in Ch 13 to cover the missed payments. The could also add time to cover the interest for those missed payments. No matter what, good luck.
Google your countys court and see if they're even open. Here in FL this is posted.
