Update. I reported AMEX.. the one and only card that was left with the $440 balance when I filed Ch 7..
I reported them to the CFPB after a dispute directly with the Credit Bureaus for AMEX reporting First Date of Delinquency 11/2022, the same month the BK was filed. They responded that they couldn't remove the FDD but that they had been reporting my account Never Late in April 2023 after a CB dispute. Transunion updated my FICO 11/29, right after the response to the CFPB complaint. My Transunion FICO went up to a 733 and I just saw it tonight.
I waited so long to file the CFPB complaint because I was confused when I read the words from senior members of this community stating that they shouldn't be reporting a First Date of Delinquency when it was Included in Bankruptcy. I'm not sure why I went back and forth so long but I finally submitted the CFPB complaint and figured whoever was right would get sorted out. My credit report no longer lists an account within the last year, two years, or 7 years with any missed payments. Amex really shouldn't have been reporting that FDD and two years later, it is gone and I should have gone to the CFPB last year.
