Thank you! It's just hard being so close to discharge and getting that last minute speedbump. Fingers crossed it is smooth sailing until the end of August (new discharge date).
@angelofmusic86 Sure I get it. The last minute speedbump can be a pain but you're almost there. Just a couple of weeks to go! Hang in there; the fresh start is right around the corner! ![]()
congratulations!

@chrissyo29 a huge congrats on getting the BK in the rearview mirror! After you see that it's reporting on all bureaus you can start your new journey. Yay! Honestly, you are in the right place to experience massive success and really don't need your attorney's program. The steps are so simple to get going as I am sure you've read here. Make sure your reports are showing the BK discharged. Try Cap One and Disco prequal sites and see if there is an offer. Pick up 2-3 bank cards (and be prepared that they may be secured at first). Pick up a Self Lender Loan or similar if you don't already have an installment loan (I like Self because it doesn't require a security deposit). Use each card monthly and PIF before the statement cuts. That's it. Check your progress at 6-12 months and adjust at that time.
So happy for your new rebuild! Please keep posting and I look forward to following all your new success!! ![]()
