So after months and months what was supposed to be a simple Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. We finally discharged July 17th! We started this process in October 2023, its now July of 2024. They delayed filing for a couple months and we didnt get to file until February 21, 2024. Then they kept pushing things back, we were denied reaffirmation of our auto loan, which we feel now was for the best. They explained nothing about the process, were rude when we had questions and gaslight us the entire time. Im so happy this process is over because these 9 months have been awful.
I have started rebuilding and I will be in the garden for 2 months(just so I can apply for a new vehichle for my wife, hers is old and is barely holding on and she needs a reliable car.) then back in the garden for a year atleast.
My wife has CreditOne with $300 limit, I am an authorized user
I have a self loan
I am now approved for Discover Secured with - $300 limit.
Thats all I need just to improve my payment history and score.
