Seems to be right there as far as SOL go, I am thinking I should just wait it out.

@Anonymous yeah I think the statue limitations are pretty clear. And it's your prerogative how to proceed but passing the statue limitations, as long as you don't restart them, bars civil litigation and then two years later 2.5 maximum, it would fall from your credit report, so if you're willing to wait... The choice is yours, even if you pay them they're still going to hurt the whole seven years.

@Anonymous  Thanks for the info- should I try to get a secured card or just wait completely?

@Anonymous You should definitely get a secured card and be building up positive payment history. You need at least three revolvers reporting positive payment history. Try to get ones that will graduate. Avoid predator cards. Check post 7 of the Scoring Primer for a link to a thread about good secured cards.
