Foreclosure after discharge question

I was granted a Chapter 7 discharge in late 2011. I moved out of the house I was living in after the discharge. Today I read in the paper that US Bank received a judgment to foreclose in July and the sale will take place at the courthouse in October. Will this report as a foreclosure on my credit report? Its now reporting "discharged in Chapter 7 Bankruptcy". Thank You

Re: Foreclosure after discharge question

Nope - your mortgage tradeline on your credit report will forever read a zero balance and IIB.

Any thing other than that is considered a violation of the BK discharge and can net you some cash if they change it.  The good news is once the deed changes hands, that starts your eligibility for new mortgage!

Excellent. I wasnt sure it the bureaus would pick up the judgment and report that as well. Thanks again
