I have an old debt from GCS (payday loan shark)
from 1997 that was included in my Ch 13. A collection company named Professional Collection Services sent me a collection letter in November of 2007!!! I sent them a letter explaining that the debt had been discharged and they have since placed in on all three CRAs. (before I found the forums) Of course I disputed with the CRAs, and TU removed it but EX and EQ refuse. I even sent them copies of the discharge papers, and of the audit with the account listed from the BK and everything they would need to see that the debt is discharged and obsolete. EQ verified it as a CH 7 BK. I have never filed Ch. 7!!! What do I do now? The debt is obsolete and hs been discharged but the CA keeps verifying it incorrectly.
