My FICO is up 22 points as of July 2nd from June 2nd and is now 607. NOT GREAT but it is up. My FAKO scores are 692 and 695 on Kredit Karma and 692 on Credit Sesame. The OLLO card is recommended and I have a preapproval. No annual fee and apr is 24.99. I am also preselected for a CREDIT ONE but there might be an annual fee up to 99 bucks. I burned ALL THE BIG ONES. AMX, USAA, NFCU, Citi, Chase, Discover, HSN, QVC, Best Buy. Am I too early to try for a credit card?? THANKS!!!!!
Ollo card is fine with bankruptcy, but, I would only apply if you have a preapproved and can't get a preapproval for Capital One. My husband and I were discharged in February and Ollo showed up as preapproved for him a couple months ago. I think they are pretty new, so hard to say what they will be like. My husband was only approved for $400, but, he was only an authorized user on one of my accounts and has a fingerhut card.
I just applied a couple weeks ago and got approved with a CL of $1400. Finally! I have a Discover with a $200 limit and Lendup and Creditone each at $750 limits. Unfortunately, I end up using all of them in the span of a month and keep missing paying them before the cut date. Discover is good, but, Lendup and CreditOne both wait more than a week to credit a payment to your account. So, very difficult to use your credit line and still have it report $0.
So far Ollo seems to just take a couple days to credit a payment on my spouse's account- so like a regular credit card. I haven't gotten to try making a payment on mine yet as I just got it in. I really like that it talks to Mint- unlike Lendup and CreditOne which do not work with Mint. I absolutely despise creating a budget, I'd rather be able to go to a site and see what I spent my money on all sorted for me and then make changes as necessary.
So, yes, I like Ollo so far, but, wouldn't have applied for them if I would have prequalified for Capital One. I want to say that my interest rate is 24% and no annual fee. So, not bad, just don't carry a balance. But, we'll see if there's all kinds of random fees later.. lol
I am looking forward to finally being able to play the game of only having one card report a small balance. I already paid the other cards in full and won't use them going forward- curious to see what my score could really be with only one card reporting a balance.
Thank you!!! Was happy to get the Capital One Platinum last night with a 3k credit line but the APR is high but it is a start.
Thanks so much!!! I did end up getting a Captital One card last night with a 3k credit line.
I like my Ollo card. As has been mentioned, it releases available credit right after payment instead of holding the credit for several days (lookin' at you, Credit One and Mission Lane...), which is really nice. I wish the SL were a bit higher, but judging from other people's experiences, I am pretty hopeful that it'll grow with time and responsible use. The majors won't give me the time of day right now, but Ollo is treating me pretty well in the meantime.
I have had mine for about 8 months now. It started at $1200 and on the 6th month I received a $500 cli. The customer service is great if you ever need to call them.
