How long did it take to file your Petition

Looking for how long it took everyone elses attorny to file. I provided all documents last week and spent about 4 hours on a website filling out every little detail of my finances. Talked to my lawyer and was told it would take 2-4 weeks to Prepare and submit my petition to the court. Is this normal?

I am sure the answers will be all over.  In my case I met with my lawyer and went through everything (2 hour meeting) and I was filed the next day.

My lawyer did mines the same day. That was one of the reasons I chose him. Everyone else said a week. There was no extra fee either.

I have been on the spot with my lawyer turning in everything within hours of it being requested. I sent an email asking about surrendering vehicles in the chapter 13 and told that it would be better discussed at the signing appointment and not to make any changes until then. I kinda get the feeling that I am paying alot of money for minimum effort.
