Anecdotal evidence suggests that I will top out around 720 as long as the major derogatory is reporting.I think it is closer to 735 ish once the PR ages a bit. My EX is at 728 2.5 years post d/c with nothing negative besides the BK itself.
Yeah I thought of you the other day when I read that 720 or so was the "max" a person could reach with a BR on their reports.
I've peaked at 700 EQ 686 EX and 675 TU in December 2014... with nothing negative other than the BK itself... and the IIB accounts associated with it.
My 2 year discharge date is next week... if I get a boost I will be REALLY surprised... because I've done everything else right... low UTI (not OCD 1% low but under 20%) while not going overboard like some of the BK 7 filers we have here at myFICO with their $125k + in new credit less than 2 years out of discharge.
I honestly think I'm just stuck in the 670-700 range till it all falls off which is fine... annoying... but fine.

I think it's the IIBK TL's holding your score back just a tad. Hey, we've seen people shoot to almost 770-790 once the BK dropped off. I'll cross my fingers for you

Yeah. I'm pretty sure it is.
You said you had nothing but the BK showing... and said your BK was medical... so if they are all gone then that pretty much confirms it.
770-790 would be insane. I've heard of it happening too... we'll find out soon enough. TU is my lowest but is also the most forgiving with early exclusion. All my lenders including my CU pull TU... I'm calling them on 10/1. ![]()

Yep! All IIBK's are gone, just BK showing but I think I have a 4 year old 30 day late on an old Cap1 card I had prior to BK. Pretty sure it is barely hurting me at this point. I kick myself for waiting so long to file but it has helped since everything fell off naturaly lol

Yeah it's definitely my IIB stuff holding me back. I have no idea what kind of a boost I will see but I do know I will have my 16+ year old SL's (5 separate accounts yay for backdating after discharge) as well as nearly a dozen CC accounts 1-3 years old plus the year old car loan.
AAoA will get a boost from the SL accounts and I should be golden. 770-790 would be a 100 pt boost... not uncommon.
I'd take 750 though... LOL
Can't wait until 2018...LOL My7, yes 7 Navient SL lines will ALL turn positive as I am awaiting (3) major lates to drop off and the TL turn fully positive. Thats 21 LATES right now...LOL
There are other sites out there that would have you sell your first born and roast kittens on an open flame. We aren't that sort of site.
I just came back from China and those guys will eat anything as long as you put BBQ sauce on it. Roasted kittens might have been on the menu, but I digress.
I support any method to improve one's life as long as it is legal AND it does not hurt another human being. I understand the TOS and that is myFICO's right to have the TOS. However, if anyone can get their scores improved; good for them. The system is STACKED against the individual.
During my rebuild, I had several items incorrect and the CRA would not fix them. So I either had to accept it or pay for an Attorney to get a Judge to order the CRAs to fix my file. I chose the former because it is just not worth paying several hunderd dollars to raise my score 20 points. I understand the OP's situation and I agree with him.
However, in the same breath, I understand the objection to the OP's method. Some people like to follow the rules to the Tee. I respect that.

I called Experian and asked for an Early Exclusion. My 7 year mark for some of my IIB is in Oct 2015 so I thought "what the hell". The CSR told me that after 2 years, all IIBs are no longer "hurting" your score. So it makes sense to me that if a "fresh" BK7 has teh IIBs removed; it will raise the score. However, waiting 2 years also has the same effect. This is due to re-bucketing.
So I expect my scores to actually drop once my IIB start to age off because the AAOA will suffer. One of my CC that IIB was opened for 25 years. I hoped to keep it open with a $100 limit but no-can-do.
