It used to be the LendUp and LendUP L card. They spun off the credit cards into Mission Bank. My LendUp was just converted last month.
I've had my LendUp card, now Mission Lane, for close to a year now. No real issues with them. Started with $500 and got a CLI to $700a about a couple months ago. I just paid my bill today. Pretty decent company. As long as you PIF, as usually suggested on her, then you'll be good and they make for a great rebuilder.
Exactly as Corey said, it was Lendup until a month or so ago.
The only thing I don't like about them is that it can take a week for an online payment to get credited to your account. So, it's a bit of a nuisance if you are trying to get it to report $0 on the statement date. Additionally, if you are running everything through it, your available credit has about a week lag from payments as well. I never really knew what I owed them because of all the weird delays. There was a point where I accidentally had a $200 credit because I paid the 'current balance' and they still hadn't credited my previous payment from the previous week.
You will definitely want to setup your banking information as soon as you get your card and make your first payment at least a week early. They had me reconfirm my bank account before I could make a payment which I assume was so that I would pay the fee to rush a payment.. lol But, fortunately I was making my payment a week ahead and so had the couple of business days it took to reconfirm my account before the payment was due.
After you successfully make your first couple payments, it's pretty smooth sailing and they quit messing with you.
It was my highest credit limit until Ollo sent me an offer for a $1500 limit. I won't qualify for Capital One for another 6 months or so- so it was worth it to me even with the nuisance.
I would only get it if it doesn't have an annual fee- all the other credit rebuilders have a bunch of fees- so by comparison the Mission Lane is very decent for fresh out of bankruptcy.
Well sadly I got denied. haha. They must be a little tougher to get then Merrick because they offer the card without fees unlike Merrick. I don't have many choices so I think I'm going to stick with only Merrick for now. I'm testing out how long Merrick takes to credit a payment. I'm going from my bank to Merrick as opposed to from Merrick to my bank so we'll see.
Ollo has been a great card for me. Approved a couple of months post bk. It's not the highest cl (500) but no insane fees etc.
I have got this card recently with CL $750, since i couldnt get Credit One as i burned them in BK which was discharged in May 2019. It has $59 annual fee and APR is 29.99%
Sorry to bring up an old thread but I thought it would be better than starting a new one for what might be a dumb quesiton.
I got Mission Lane Visa about a month ago at 1,000 Credit Liine. Love the No Annual Fee. Lovely. One thing that is bugging me is that the card account hasn't shown up on any of of the 3 credit files. Its just bugging me why it hasn't yet. Anyone else experience this?
I will call them on monday to ask but wanted to see if anyone here has any informatiion about it not showing up.
thanks
Sometimes creditors push it through quickly, others will take their time. A month isnt that long. They report it, Reports post it, you see it. Just takes time for everything to link up and update. I've had alot of cards not update until after the first payment.
....and to go the other end of the spectrum....my friend is waiting for their new Merrick card to arrive, but it has already shown up on their reports. Card hasn't been received yet, let alone activated.
