I'm stuck waiting a few more weeks since my reaffirmation for the car wasn't filed by the creditor. (
I guess I shouldn't have expected the process to go as smoothly as it did).
I've thought about ditching the car, and probably should have, but it is what it is at this point. It's a low rate and half paid off, just is super annoying that this is what caused my discharge to be pushed back. At this point (as of the 4th) the extension was already submitted to the courts, so I just have to be mildy patient. If the creditor (Ford) still doesn't get their act together, then I guess I'll just say forget it. lol
Seems like the manufacturer credit companies make it a point to induce headaches when dealing with them. Luckily this is the last Ford I was ever going to have anyway (ex's dad retired from Ford, the dad passed, and well, my ex is my ex lol), but definitely going to go with my own financing whenever it is time to get a new car in the future. lol
