Old Medical bill wrote off in BK?

I'm really trying to get my score up and have a question regarding 2 old medical bills, one from the surgeon and one from the clinic where the surgery was done. Last  payment date May 2003 I wrote these both off on my BK?  I was thinking of doing a GW letter but not sure if that is the same because it states wrote off in BK?  Any advise on what I could do to get these taken off my report would be appreciated.  They are the only things left on my report that shows the BK besides the PR of the BK.

Re: Old Medical bill wrote off in BK?

I have two medical bankruptcies on my report (7 & 13). No the account attached to the bankruptcy will not come off until either 7 years after the bankruptcy filing date or both creditors agree to have the account removed. So call both parties, even though they are from the same medical, and ask if they will remove it. If they agree get a letter for your own documentation. You may possibly be able to get at least one of them removed because both accounts are from the same medical business. You would have to go through the normal dispute process with all three credit bureaus.
