Hello everyone. I'm almost 1-year post-Ch 7 and I was reading the reviews for the Ollo card. I know you have to receive an invitation from them for the card. Would an alert on my credit bureaus prevent me from getting an invite?

Hello....What exactly do you mean by an 'alert' on your credit report?

Sorry. I was referring to fraud alerts.
Oh....in that case, i have no idea.
FYI, i was pre-approved for the OLLO card through a link on my Credit Karma page. I followed it, and sure enough $1100 limit.
So i would keep an eye out for that on your credit karma, if you use them to monitor your credit file.
Congrats on the approval. I've never heard about Ollo till I started reading in these forums. They didnt find a preoffer for me throught the Credit Karma link though.
I rec'd an invite from Ollo about six months after my discharge. I didn't respond and they stopped sending the invites (they were sending them weekly). I got another invite from them in September and decided to pull the trigger because I wanted another card to help in my rebuild. Approved for $1200 credit limit. They have been very easy to work with and report my payments promptly, etc. to the credit bureaus. I am pretty happy with them. I spend $100-$200 each month on their card (groceries and gas) and then pay in full every month. I like Ollo! Good luck!
Congrats on your approval. Sounds like a good card.
The fraud alert will keep you from getting offers. I went through this did a year before I realized why I was getting denials. Wasted a few inquiries too.
Thank you. I had a feeling the alert was causing that.
