Pacer and CRAs?

Good morning all, my attorney states she filed my no asset, non consumer ch7 yesterday. As of this morning I was expecting to get credit update emails from the few sites I monitor, I haven't. Created a PACER account yesterday and couldn't really navigate it on my phone, so will try to look on the computer.

Anyways how long does it typically take to update these systems. I heard creditors will get notice in about 7-10 days. Maybe Corona is slowing things down if it's physical hands at the court entering info?

PS good news, looks like life in China is starting to bounce back and fights to UK starting again, hopefully Italy and the rest of us in the world are shortly behind with the come back/recovery.

Well looked at PACER this morning on the computer. It is in there now, so much easier to use than on the phone Smiley Happy So I expect CRA's to start reporting the news soon. Bye bye 750+ score and nearly 300k in unsecured avaliable credit LOL.

Re: Pacer and CRAs?

@researcgguy996 -

My attorney filed on 3/17 and I just received my first notifications on MyFico (I have an subscription) and my Experian score jumped 14pts abd Equifax jumped 38pts

Because of my income and other things, I was forced to file a chapter 13.  I'm not happy, but this too shall pass.  I will create my pacer account today.

Since we are dealing with COVID-19, the court houses are closed in South Florida (Broward County), I'm assuming I'll get a court date (MOC) after this is over, I'm hoping this will be over sooner than later.

Good luck to you! Better days are ahead.

Re: Pacer and CRAs?

What's the s with the line mean? Thank you, it did show on the my fico scores but but faco as of today. Experian and Trans Union only at this point, I'm sure Equifax will hit too.

On a side note I closed about 25 credit cards before, leaving the 2 (of my personal cards) I'm burning open along with 2 different C.Us that have no balance and my first Amex a Zync card which discontinued years ago, $25 annual fee. I figured as a charge card it might stay open?  Bad part is I chatted them last night as I didn't see that card, the last month statement said it was being closed for no use...I paid the annual fee again and they're reinstating that card. No credit was pulled and it is the original card/history, so I hope that stays open. I figured $25 bet on it to have a 12 year old perfect trade line is worth it. Hopefully this won't flag anything, if I does I'll just explain my reasoning.

Re: Pacer and CRAs?

Welp I got a notice from Amex in the mail, due to my BK petition they've closed that account, it's now showing as IIB (there was no balance, so I guess that's good). Along with them, Citizens Bank I had 2 cards with, and 5/3 visa are all closed and IIB. One of the cards I'm buring is also reporting now, so my scores are in the mid 600s and the only one that hasn't updated is in the mid 700's still, but that will change quickly.

The other card I'm burning is my Credit Union with 2 auto loans, my petition states I am going to reafirm 1 auto loan, the cc and other car is to go back, but being  a CU I may be forced to reaffirm both cars and the visa or let them all go? So hopefully I don't have to let both cars go, but we'll see.

I am hoping my Ameriprise visa stays open, that will be my only card, aside from Authorized user on a few of my wifes accounts.

MOC scheduled 4/20 will most likely be telephonic.

New update in regards to court may or may not open,  as of 4/06, all levels of court besides serious criminal matters will be closed in CT until mid June. April 20th is no longer a deadline for CT. Filings will be reduced service if any. All scheduled hearings/meetings will be done by teleconference.
