A little confused here. My wife got a loan with Santander before we filed. Unfortunately we did re affirm the loan. We got discharged from chap 7 in March 2020. The case is still open because of assets but we were discharged. We have built out credit back. Santander won't give us online access or anything. We have never missed a payment. They don't even report the loan payments to the credit agencies. Anyone have any insight?

Many companies will suspend online access and wont report payhistory until the official DC is ordered. I went thru the same thing with Cap1. Payment history resumed afterwards but never showed up again during the filing and DC. If you have the actual order for DC. Call them and explain the situation. But be forwarned. Santander customer service sucks. They're the worst to deal with. Good luck and keep us posted. Others can learb from this. Good luck.

I tried that awhile ago. I've been discharged well over a year. There claiming because the case is still open

Infiniti wouldn't reopen online access and report until case closed. DC made no difference to them. Same boat here - assets kept the case open after DC.
