So I accidently burnt USAA in my bankruptcy. I thought I had a zero balance but later found out that was not the case and by that point it was too late. Now I can't use any of the features associated with my USAA online account and I they aren't budging even though I burnt them for only $25. My move to NFCU I believe has benefits. I will still keep my USAA auto insurance, but will no longer bank with them.
Navy is better than USAA, especially if you are fresh out of BK. USAA is not BK friendly in any sense.
That said, you can probably get your online access back by simply repaying USAA their $25. Most companies will let you back in if you make them whole.
Since it was an oversight on your part, I would call and ask them if you can do this. If the CSR says no, escalate to a supervisor and then the EO.
Thanks.

this exactly.. Not that USAA isn't great, but for someone with a fresh BK you can't beat NFCU
