Re: When do creditors usually start filing claims?

I wanted to post an update in case anyone came across the original post and had the same questions as me.

Yesterday was the last day to file claims. I had 18 claims made, which included my mortgage (but not my HELOC for some reason), our two cars, and then unsecured debt. Out of all the unsecured debt I expected to have claims made, 4 of them did not make claims (two hospital bills, Affirm, and the Capital One Walmart card).

We filed on 4/10/2020 - first claim was made on 4/24/2010 - last claim was made on 6/17/2020. Nobody filed a claim on the last minute of the last day (6/23/2020).

The four unclaimed debts totaled about $12,xxx so I guess I have a minor windfall in not having to pay those. I still have to pay back 100% of the unsecured claims made = $74,174.86.

Next step is the confirmation hearing on 7/21/2020 - and to let the next five years go by...
